Recipe of jelly from fruits. A traditional drink for the festive table on Christmas Eve.
Description of preparation:
A sauce (or compote) is a compote, or kissel from dried fruit that is traditionally served on Christmas Eve in many Eastern European countries – Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Lithuania. In fact, it is better to drink uzvar than this cloying and artificial aeration or cooked it is unclear of what store-bought juices. Broth is tasty, simple and traditional.
- Dried pears — 100 Grams
- Dried apples — 100 Grams
- Prunes — 100 Grams
- Water — 2.5 Liters
- Sugar, honey — to taste
How to cook “stewed fruit”
You first need to sort out our dried fruits from the garbage.
Now the main feature of preparation of stewed fruit: dried fruits must be filled with water and… overnight.
Only the next day to put a pan on the burner and bring the liquid to a boil over low heat.
Cook the sauce for another 15 minutes after boiling on low heat. Try the taste, if needed add sugar or honey
Remove the pan from the heat and leave the sauce to cool at room temperature. Using two or three hours stewed fruit infusions and finally reached the desired taste. It remains only to strain the broth in a jug and serve. Bon appetit! 🙂
