What could be better than coming home after a walk in the fresh air, snack on a plate of hot first dishes! Edition tochka.net invites you to prepare a hearty and rich lentil soup recipe which includes chicken and vegetables.

Lentil like all legumes, is a unique and very valuable product that can compete with animal protein. And because the meals of lentils, recipes are so fond of the hostess, and even cooked in a slow cooker, very tasty, and most importantly − useful, vitamin and dietary.

Try to cook in the slow cooker red lentil soup and chicken fillet − yum!

Chicken lentil soup − ingredients:

  • 200 g red lentils,
  • 600 g chicken fillet,
  • 3 potatoes,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 2 tomatoes,
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • green,
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil,
  • 1 Bay leaf,
  • pepper to taste,
  • ground black pepper, to taste,
  • salt to taste,
  • 1 liter of water.

Chicken lentil soup − recipe:

  • Chicken fillet cut into small pieces.
  • Thoroughly rinse the lentils. Finely cut onions. Carrot RUB on a coarse grater. Potatoes cut in cubes. With tomato if you wish, take off the skin and cut them to pieces. Finely cut greens. Grind the garlic.
  • In multivarku pour vegetable oil, put the chicken, onions and carrots. Put the program “Cakes” and fry the meat with vegetables for 15 minutes.
  • Then add to the slow cooker the potatoes, lentils, Bay leaf, spices, salt, pour hot water and change the program to “Stewing”. Prepare chicken soup under covered 50-60 minutes.
  • 15 minutes before end of cooking throw in the slow cooker, greens and garlic.
  • Prepared lentils in the soup may be a little soft after boiling. Give chicken soup a little brew and serve hot.
